1. RE: Dexter vs Patrick Jane: who would win?
Nov 5 2011, 4:04 PM EDT
Personally if PJ would go against Dexter I thnk PJ would figure out Dexter pretty quickly although I have wonder if he would turn him in. Yet I have to wonder what Dexter would think of Jane and if he thinks Jane would rate to be in his table. The fact that Jane could see through Dexter quickly does not mean he would win as most people can't see through him and that would give Dexter time to go for a counter attack if he think Jane would deserve it. Why would he think Jane could deserve be in his table? Jane has been the cause of deaths and sufferings even before his family died, and since then he has done very questionable things. Would Dexter believe Jane's suffering can atone for a lifetime of wickedness?

2. RE: Dexter vs Patrick Jane: who would win?

Now if it was a race to get RJ between them who would win? Dexter is a serial killer and as such can think like one , he also seems to perceive other serial killers immediately. Jane has proven to have a lot of insight of human nature and as such have similar abilities and potential to Dexter in respect as to identify serial killers, except for one RJ. Now Jane has against him that RJ knows he is after him, also RJ has people in the police and other agencies that can help him cover his tracks and alert him when people are coming to close to him. So in my opinion those are the reasons why PJ has been having so many difficulties getting RJ. He knows Patrick and his abilities and with his knowledge of investigations can keep himself ahead of him and even manipulate him. Dexter would not have those difficulties as he is just a "blood guy", no reason for RJ to think he would be after him nor protect himself anymore than he would from any government official. I think that would give Dexter the edge he needs to get RJ , as he has the element of surprise in his favor and he is a great investigator, which usually helps him to keep ahead of everyone else. He also knows how to defend himself very well, as he has been capable of going against trained men like a very fit ex ranger and kick their butt completely. However he does has a drawback and is that he tends to underestimate opponents which give them the chance to counter attack him. So it is my opinion that Dexter would get RJ before Jane, if RJ does not get him first that is. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
