Jane will be back on his game more than ever after he gets over the initial trauma of coming (gorgeous) face to (creepy mask) face with Red John. He'll have a mission trying to find out what happened to Kristina-and he's got new clue-Blake's Tyger, Tyger Burning Bright...at least this is my humble opinion. I loved RigsPelt, I'd like them back together. I miss Minnelli (& Boscoe), but I can live with Hightower. Can Lisbon? Awesome week of season premieres!!! Do you find this valuable? |

I'm so nervous about the premiere tonight. It was awful to see how upset Jane was about Kristina, it felt like a bad dream where people just won't listen...But being as the show is secretly about the end of the Roman Empire and the beginnings of Christianity, I'm not surprised that the show is going to start being more about the main characters being deeply affected. Grace having a new man is like Julia having her secret romance with her son. Not only will Rigsby get upset, if he's really the symbol for Gaius Caesar, he's going to end up in a sword battle with Red John. I think Red John saving Jane from the copycats is like the crucifiction, and Caesar ordering the Romans to take Jesus down from the cross before he was actually dead. Heller saying he's badly scarred is describing the period of physical recovery for Jesus, actually Lucius Caesar, before he set sail for Britain. Too bad it's such a yucky story about incest and con-artists. The Caesar family, I mean. Because that means Grace and her baby will be murdered by Red John, and Jane and Rigsby, as Lucius and Gaius, will assassinate Red John in revenge for it - or maybe the baby survives, because the whole thing, history and this show is mixed around and around. I KNOW there will be a happy ending, because they succeeded in fooling everyone with Christianity, and making people worship Mary and Jesus without realizing they were Julius Caesar's con-artist kids, born of incest and intimate through incest. Even the Holy Grail is about their baby born of two acts of incest. So it isn't just a tv show, it's a secret way of the family bragging, Ha ha, fooled you, Made you worship us and our twisted history. Yet they'll never admit it or deny it, because if you question this then you question everything, and most people's brains can't tolerate it. Interesting interpretation. No mention of Flavious & Atilla the Hun. After their deaths began the Dark Ages. Seriously, WTF?

I think Teresa will help him through that though. This is the starting of something I can tell its more intriging this season, and there has only been 1 episode. LOL I think eventually RigsPelt will be together, I don't know for when, but I think they will. She was giving him a *look* after his pepper spray incident. LOL I think Hightower is doing good, she's not my favorite boss mind you, but maybe she will soften more. I noticed how she said she didn't want to know what Teresa had up her sleeve, which I thought was funny considering how she could have answered. LOL I like this, this will be fun. :0) Thank you for making it!! :0) Do you find this valuable? |

She wasn't afraid of her like she usually seems. She just told her thoughts, and never second guessed herself. Go Teresa!! :0) Do you find this valuable? |

Hilariously sarcastic comment. You made me laugh and want to research Atilla the Hun!I know it sounds very "WTF" crazy, but take a look at what I've written about the symbolism in the premiere on my website, susanmaureenbrandt (dot)yolasite (dot) com. So many of my predictions came true I can't write about the significance of them all, it would take forever! Even though it sounds strange, think about it - Bruno Heller had five seasons of Rome planned, then was canceled halfway through the second. The Mentalist is said to go to five seasons. He was going to end season two of Rome with the death of Brutus. In my research, I've found that Brutus is a code name for the same person as Jesus is based on, Lucius Caesar. And season two of the Mentalist ended with a quasi-crucifixion scene, with Patrick Jane as Lucius! Heller's using the same plot he wrote for Rome, which itself was an encoded version of the hidden truth only insiders know! Really, you should read my predictions and explanations just once, it turns watching the show into a real life Da Vinci Code, with so many codes just waiting to be cracked. I'll happily give anyone the key! It makes the show make perfect sense at every moment, with tons of clues to catch and decode. Thanks again for the reminder about the dark ages, Susan Maureen Brandt Do you find this valuable? |

"Jane is like a cat. He will always land on his feet. : ) "Good one!! I believe that too. :0) I think he might be stronger than he thinks he is. I think whenever he gets his chance with Red John, he will be so full of anger he will let him have it. The only thing is, is that he seemed completely terrified of him. So I am wondering if Teresa is going to get what she wanted, to arrest him. I think that Patrick wouldn't be happy with himself though if he was just arrested like every other criminal. This was personal to him, so I don't know. What do you think?? :0) Do you find this valuable? |

Sorry but I doubt Jane will really kill RJ.That would upset too many fans and don't forget that this is still meant to be light-hearted drama. The Mentalist surely will go on for more than 5 seasons.I'm not intrested in Rigspelt the moment they make Van Pelt pregnant I'll stop watching the show- I'm intrested at how Jane and Lisbon's relationship develops. We know that Jane tries to pull away from everyone but that Lisbon won't let him and that that's what will make him feel more affection towards her, it says " "As much as he wants to protect her by pulling away from her, he feels more love for her this year because they've been through so much, yet she's proven that she'll be there for him." Even if it is just platonic love I'm really looking forward to this. Do you find this valuable? |

You're welcome for the Dark Ages reminder:) I'll check out the website. I subscribe to the philosophy of 'investigation prior to contempt'. Did you see The Matrix? That was very allagorical! Peace

But by the time he has to make the choice, he will realize that his new found love with Lisbon is more important than revenge. : ) Do you find this valuable? |

Magicpowers, that's great you'll take a look. Just keep in mind it's a bit of a mess, as I'm revealing stuff as fast as I find it. I know people will say "allegory" to explain it, but if it was just one of many literary devices, why would everyone choose the exact same story to reference? Or, are the people who choose to make an allegory of that particular caesar family drama just more handsomely rewarded and promoted. It occurred to me today that in Roman times, every form of entertainment allowed in the Empire was probably glorifying the relevant gods and events. The only diff. now is they disguise it?As for the Matrix, I'm glad I saw it before I started to see behind the veil, as they say. It was a helpful warning that one day, you might wake up from something you didn't realize you'd been sleeping through! Still a big shock. i really really wish the Mentalist was just entertainment for me still! Do you find this valuable? |

I'm only saying this, liquidcrystal94 and lisbonismyhero, because if it was me I'd want to know. This show is a trick to make you root for a relationship which is actually an incestuous one on an encoded level. I know it sounds like I'm a crazy nut, and I know the show is charming and seems very genuinely heartfelt, but if it's a dirty trick to make us cheer for a brother and sister, or son and mother getting it on, do you want to cheer or know that's the producer/writer's secret intent? Also, I'm not very confident anymore that the pregnancy will happen to one of the main characters. Literally, this week I've been watching the first season for the first time, and I'm beginning to get it, and from the comments on this site and others, which I really respect because the Mentalist definitely seems to have very intelligent and heartfelt viewers, that the show sticks to a formula where nothing really affects the main characters like it would on a family drama. So maybe the pregnancy and assassination will just be subtle and happen to minor characters. One more thing, I watched the pilot, and it was definitely Brett Partridge that had the mask on in the season 2 finale and was saying he couldn't stand cheap imitations. It's being set up in the pilot that he's a copycat but a very devoted one, as well as being a forensics guy, and that's why he was so pushy in the bedroom in the late season 2 episode. Jane treats a crime scene with respect, and a female murder victim as someone who deserves his help. Brett was pushy and obnoxious, and the show seems to want to make that point, even if they were both trained by the father, Patrick Jane is special and unique to have retained his humanity. And obviously the writers of the show are in touch with their own humanity, which is why it affects us so much. Maybe it's even a cry for help from people inside con-artist families. Who knows? Interesting observations. However, I still believe it's all just entertainment. Very GOOD entertainment, but entertainment nonetheless. I'd be interested in knowing what Bruno's reaction would be to this analysis. NOT from an interview, but as a fly on the wall watching his initial, and honest, reaction to said analysis.Having said that, however, I will take a look as well! Do you find this valuable? |
