Does anyone else think Simon Baker looks like Robert Redford?

I have just read an article and it says that Simon Baker looks like Robert Redford. But I would have to disagree and I can see no resemblance whatsoever. I was just wondering what other people thought about it thats all.

Totally agree with you! I can see why people say that - just cos he's blond! Baker's got a nicer smile!

Totally and he has better hair as well. Plus Simon Baker is from Australia and I like him more than Robert Redford

I like him so much better than Robert Redford, too ..... but just a few days ago, I was going a little cold turkey on Simon (I had to step back on my addiction LOL) ... and I was at work and suddenly I felt the urge to watch "The Horse Whisperer". At first, I didn't even get the connection until one minute later I realized the slight resemblance. Do you find this valuable? |

Really... sometimes I thought it was Baker in it and when I didn't, Robert just looked like his father or brother. There is a scene in a school that Robert acts so much like Patrick Jane! I absolutely can`t see any resemblance, and I stared a while at a picture of Robert......maybe I`m not good at that....

I just recently started watching the mentalist...my son got me started on it lol...and it took me a while to figure out whom it was Simon Baker resembled, then it hit me as Robert Redford, so yes i would definitely agree! more like brothers, but some shots of Baker look identical to pictures of Redford. They have similar rugged features and same color of hair. mainly though it's in the eyes! :) it's funny though because my mom couldn't see the resemblance until i found certain pictures because she was imagining how Robert Redford looked at a certain age, but the resemblance is seen more in Redford's older pictures. both men great looking i would have to say! lol
