amk358	How about writing an episode together line by line? Sep 18 2009, 8:00 AM EDT Years ago at university we played a drama game where everyone added a line and made up a story. I've seen it done on other websites too and it's usually fun!! Who'd like to join in. I'll start the ball rolling. It was a sunny day, but the atmosphere in the CBI office was less than sunny. Lisbon was shouting at someone down the phone and put it down angrily. Cho seemed unhappy about something and hadn't said a word and Rigsby and Van Pelt seemed to be ignoring each other. Even Jane didn't seem his usually cheerful self. He sat sipping his cup of tea nonchalantly and observed. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Lisbon came out of her office and snapped at Jane, "Get up and let him sit down Jane." She turned to Van Pelt and asked her to call an ambulance. The man didn't appear to be too badly hurt, but he kept mumbling something and he was obviously in shock. Patrick studied him carefully, looking for clues. It was hard to tell what he was saying but it appeared to be, "his eyes!" What had he seen Jane wondered, but he was in no state to be questioned. He had observed that the man seemed to have sustained a blow to the head, as he had a cut on the back just above his neck indicating that he had been hit from behind. The blood on the front of his shirt however was clearly someone elses. But whose? Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Sep 20 2009, 10:38 AM EDT The man sat down on Jane's sofa still mumbling when Van Pelt announced there was ambulance on the way that would be there soon. The hospital wasn't far away from the CBI head-quarters. Jane noticed that the man never stopped touching his pocket, and made a mental note to himself to inspect his personal affects at the hospital... Post reply Do you find this valuable?

"Drive carefully!" she snapped as he started the engine. "Now, now my dear," he grinned playfully, "I wouldn't dream of driving any other way with you beside me!" "Just shut up and drive," she replied with a glare. "Someone got out of bed on the wrong side this morning!" Jane replied, and Lisbon raised her hand and flicked him. "Ow!" he exclaimed, "Didn't your mother ever teach you to play nice!" Lisbon glared at him and told him to watch the road as they followed the ambulance to the hospital. The man was wheeled inside, still mumbling and when they had him dressed in hospital robes at last Patrick took the opportunity to examine his pocket. Inside was a strange looking key, a key to something, but what? It was very old and a little rusty. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Sep 20 2009, 12:19 PM EDT When the man was finally sedated, Jane and Lisbon got some blood samples from the doctor and sent them to the forensics department at the CBI. Meanwhile Cho and Rigsby were trying to find out where the man came from...They talked to personnel at the entrance to the CBI who told them that the man came through the car park alone on foot. They followed a blood-trail down the road towards an alley where they found a larger blood pool. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Was he dumped here perhaps, out of a vehicle? There were tire marks at the end of the pool of blood, and as Cho observed they looked as if they came from a 4x4. They studied the tread and looked for other clues. The forensics may find more they thought and called for back up. In the meantime, Jane and Lisbon were still at the hospital. Jane had found a picture with the key in the man's jacket pocket, but no wallet. As yet no one knew who he was. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

It was obious that something was troubling him. Cautiously, Lisbon walked over and sat down next him, "what's wrong?" she asked. "I don't know" Jane replied, eyes never leaving the photograph "This picture just seems really....familiar. But I can't work out why." Post reply Do you find this valuable?

"What!!" Lisbon retorted, "Would you really let someone do that to you?" "Only if I trust them! I trust you so if I tell you what to do perhaps you can do it!" "This is a joke right?" Lisbon looked at him suspiciously. His face looked grave and she wasn't sure what to say at this point. He needed to remember where he had seen that face. Lisbon shouted after him, but he was already in the room and the patient was clearly in a trance. Lisbon went to slap Patrick and he dodged with a grin, "Now!Now!" he exclaimed, "What was that I said about playing nicely!" Lisbon gave him a death stare and he decided it was better not to comment further. He still intended to get all the information out of this man though, starting with who it was in that photo. James Watson was the reply and it seemed familiar somehow, yet the face didn't. He looked at the photo again. "That's James Watson," he said out loud. The man in front of him bore no resemblance to the picture though. As he probed further he found that this was indeed the man from the photo. He had had plastic surgery and was in witness protection. It appeared someone had found out and killed his family and he had barely escaped with his life. Jane had met him once a long time ago when he was working as a psychic. He had some pretty dodgy connections as he recalled. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Jane, becoming increasingly frustrated, started to yell at the man, which only resulted in the man breaking down and starting to scream at Jane. As Several doctors rushed into the room, Lisbon escorted Jane into the corridor, as they sat down, Jane looked up to see Cho and Rigsby walking towads them looking worried. "well, we learned something didn't we?" still with the grin on his face "yeah at the risk of being sues, suspended or even losing your job!, we found something out" Rigsby interrupted their conversation by reporting: " sorry boss but you'd better come take a look at this.." Lisbon looked at Jane once again, still with a frown on her face and she followed Rigsby and Cho down the hallway. Jane got up to follow them when his phone went off... "Jane!" a man's voice whispered, "It's me!" Jane froze, could it be who he thought it was? He replied coldly, "It is you, Red John?" A laugh penetrated his ears and then the phone went dead. Sep 24 2009, 2:19 PM EDT a shiver ran down Jane's spine as he closed his phone he looked after Lisbon with a look of horror and determination on his face. he dialed: "hello?" Van Pelt answered "Grace, it's Jane i need help to track a phone number, i'm on my way" Jane was in his car just as Rigsby, Lisbon & Cho pulled out of the lot. Jane sped out, with Lisbon looking after him with a stunned look on her face... Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Sep 25 2009, 7:44 AM EDT He got back to the CBI Office to be met by a serious looking Van Pelt, "I'm sorry," she muttered "I couldn't get a trace." Red John was too clever, he hadn't remained on the phone long enough for the call to be traced and Jane was left wondering why he hadn't tried to keep him talking. Lisbon was still at the hospital and Jane's phone rang now. He answered and an angry voice shouted in his ear. "Jane, what do you think you're doing? Get back here and pick me up." OOps thought Patrick, I'm not in someone's good books. He just grinned and went back outside to his car. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

In the time it took Jane to drive back to the hospital, Rigsby had informed his boss on the disturbing news that he and Cho had found out, they told Jane: "Well, forensics didn't get a DNA profile back on the blood trail BUT underneath the recycling bin next to the pool..." Cho held a plastic evidence bag out for Jane to see; through the plastic Jane could see an identity badge, forged he guessed, to a man named John LeRouge...Jane was strong enough in french to know "Red John..." Cho interrupeted: " Flip it over" Jane felt a shiver as he saw the face, a face he knew well, drawn in blood... Post reply Do you find this valuable?
