If you could change one thing about a character, what would it be?

Would you make Cho taller or funnier? Simon's perfect as Patrick Jane, let's face it!! So I wouldn't change him for the world! What about Rigsby? Lisbon? Or the new characters? Do you find this valuable?

I'm not enjoying the changes to Jane's personality thus far this season. He has an arrogant, slightly dismissive attitude toward the team. It seems to be throwing the character's relationships off and I miss the quirkiness of the Lisbon/Jane relationship--which seems to have degenerated to a teacher/preschool student mentality. I so much enjoyed the humor, charm and humility originally portrayed by Jane and the interaction with the other team members as they tried to figure out not only the case, but Jane as well. Do you find this valuable?

I agree with part of what you say, but I think he's just a little pre-occupied with Bosco and getting info on the Red John case. He is supposed to be childish, and arrogant although I still think that he's likable. I'd like to give Rigsby a bit more backbone, so he has the nerve to ask Van Pelt out. Do you find this valuable?

I agree with you. He's really quite a jerk at the moment. I like that Lisbon seem to defend him much more though but it was a bit too much in the last episode for my taste. But we are just at the second episode, so maybe it will be back to normal soon. Do you find this valuable?

I don't think he's a jerk, just extra tired. The second episode indicated to me that he's getting less sleep than ever and therefore he's not going to be as chirpy!! Do you find this valuable?

yeah well that's free for interpretation of course. I do agree with mkb that he's a bit off character at the moment, Do you find this valuable?

He's going to be if he's lost the Red John case, it meant everything to him!! You see the way I look at it, to be believable it would have to reflect that. When something bad happens in your life it can effect you in different ways, Patrick has focused on getting over his grief by getting Red John and now he's been denied that. Do you find this valuable?

Yeah but you know, you really should accept that not everyone sees it the way you do. Of course he's desperate but that doesn't mean it can act like a schoolboy jeopardising life of people. he doesn't have fool's license because of that. Do you find this valuable?

He's supposed to be childish though. I accept others points of view but I see it differently as I'm looking at it from the angle of what Bruno Heller said about the character in his last interview. He said that Patrick Jane was "childish", "manipulative" and "likes the be the smartest guy in the room". Those are his character traits and let's face it they are more likely to come out now, if he's even more tired than usual and upset about the Red John case.
His judgement thus far, is always off when ever Red John is involved!! Besides I like a good debate it's more interesting than agreeing all the time. It doesn't mean I don't respect your opinion just that I enjoy arguing the toss!! Do you find this valuable?

come on....Jane needs to be a jerk sometimes...what's wrong with that?...that's when we can anticipate more actions from the team ;D maybe...this is when we see Jane making another mistake he'll regret...that'll teach him to grow up and to appreciate his team... Do you find this valuable?

I doubt it!! It can't change who he is, but he does try hard. Yes, he is childish and arrogant and let's face it he needs those flaws as no one is perfect. It would be really boring if we were!! Do you find this valuable?

Jane's character is indeed perfect just the way he is for now.
I do hope that after the team gets RJ & Jane gets his revenge, we see a new person arise from Jane! One that has his arrogance & childlike traits but also a renewed sexual being who is more than just a little flirty! This new Jane would ditch the 3 piece suits for a new look with new suits or jeans. Love the thought of Jane in some Levi's-ooooh! Do you find this valuable?

I would have Lisbon do up her hair at work. I think it is unrealistic and unprofessional that she wears it down when she is out chasing the bad guys and interrogating them at CBI headquarters.
