the_mentalist_#1fan	Who are you most like? Jun 27 2009, 3:25 PM EDT Just out of curiosity, I'd like to know which character from The Mentalist you guys are most like and why. Your answer can be more than one person, by the way. :) I think- personally, as myself- that I'm a combination of Cho, Rigsby, Jane, and Lisbon... all for different reasons. Rigsby- We both like food. :) Cho- He's super-serious and I can be super-serious... but only when I want to be. ;D Jane- WE BOTH ANNOY PEOPLE!!!!! Ah ha ha, soooo true!! Lisbon- We're both super-sarcastic. I think sarcasm is my second language... if that counts. Sorry, Van Pelt. I'm not like Van Pelt because I'm not that sweet- I'm only sweet to adults... and people who I don't know in real life. Not that I'm mean, I'm just not one of those innocent little sweethearts. :P Plus, Van Pelt generally makes good decisions... unlike me. What about you guys? Jun 27 2009, 5:15 PM EDT I´m a combination of Lisbon, Van Pelt, Rigsby and Patrick because: Rigsby: we both like food too XD Van Pelt: we both are a little naive and sweet but we don´t like that the people don´t take us serious for that Lisbon: i have a the same sense of humor, we are strict ( depends the situation) and we use to hide our feelings or personal life ( well, she do a better job in that than me but anyway) Patrick: well, in the childish behavior , always smiling (even when we are sad inside) and the fascination for the hipnosis Sorry, i´m not like Cho, everytime when in try to be serious i start to laugh XD Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Jun 27 2009, 10:57 PM EDT My favourite person in The Mentalist (other than Patrick!) is Rigsby R- really cute (lol) I- innosent attitude (yes im a good girl) G- is very gullable, believes what people tell him (im easy too trick and prank) S- smiles at Van Pelt (smiles at people I like) B- bursts out loud laughing when someone makes a funny! (i embarass myself sometimes when i laugh at the wrong moment!) Y- the yellow T Shirt he wore in the 2nd last TV Show was awesome (yellow is my favourite colour) Post reply Do you find this valuable?

She tries to act tough when she is not as tough as she would like to be. She tries to please everyone. She is focused on her career. She gets annoyed with Jane alot. Most importantly she is attracted to Rigsby and possibly starting to fall in love with him. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Lisbon: I'm the most like Lisbon. Sarcasm is my best friend. :-) I prefer to keep up emotional boundaries. I blush way too often (it's so embarrassing; the guys in my class tease me just to see me blush). I'm okay people-wise, but sometimes I'm socially awkward and don't know what to do. I prefer to be by-the-book. I think I have control issues; I don't have to be the one in control, but I have to know who's in control and what exactly we're doing. Even though I threaten violence on a daily basis, I don't think I have it in me to actually enjoy said violence. I hate to be overemotional. I have major trust issues. I try not to fall for charm, but usually end up falling anyways, but have to pretend I'm not doing so (i.e. Lisbon with Jane). I even look like her a bit (same dark hair, pale skin, green eyes). Rigsby: Food! And I'm too shy to do anything when I like someone. >.<; Cho: I'm loyal, and I love to read. And his humor cracks me up. Van Pelt: I'm sweet and cooperative, particularly with superiors. (My close friends get to see my worse moods, but besides that.) I generally use discretion; I'm pretty good with knowing whether or not it would be wise to do something. Patrick: I keep on a happy face in public, even when I'm really crushed inside. I'm fairly good at reading body language, so I keep mine under control likewise. Also, I'm pretty good at reading people; I'm very observant, and sometimes I claim to be psychic. Cho: I'm as stoic as can be at some times and may seem to distance myself from others, but I really do care about the people I'm near. You would be surprised to learn some things about me because it would seem they are out of my character. I am quiet and reserved yet can still hold a steady conversation. It seems Cho always has a book within reach; I always have a book (or five) within reach. Oh, and I've never seen a zebra. Van Pelt: I'm the newbie; no matter where I go, everyone considers me the newbie. I'm most definitely not a leader, but - if I must - I can give a few commands. I look up to and respect my superiors. I'm the sweet, innocent, girl-next-door, goody-two-shoes type. Also, due to some situations in my past, I have a hard time opening up to people and letting them in because I'm afraid of getting hurt. Jul 12 2009, 9:09 PM EDT I think I'm most like Patrick in the sense that I do notice things that other people don't, so I am observant, I notice the little details of situations & things. I am curious about things, places & people, or am I just nosy? LOL (Patrick said he's being nosy in Ep.16, Bloodshot!) I am also like Kimball Cho as I always reading something ( I've got loads of books!) And I'm definitely a lot like Wayne Rigsby as I absolutely love food LOL! I do think that Cho has a sense of humor. he listens to people and tries to give them viable answers. He doesn't seem to get upset about anything-i'm pretty calm-yes, I'm a tad superstious too. My son made me count my books- I have over a 1,200-math-history-poetry-science-Japanese, French and Vietnamese lit translated to English, English and American lit-I have 3 translations of Beowolf. spanish language lit of Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela and Colombia-not translated, Lots of history and ethic books besides some law and art books. Juan Rulfo of Mexico and Gabriel Garcia Marquez of Argentina are my favorite authors. I don't see Cho as a pet person, unless he has Koi that lets him tickle its stomach for good luck. I'm a horse and coon hound person-so we're different that way. With the way CBI travels-it would be difficult to have pets. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Jul 20 2009, 4:59 AM EDT amandablovespatrick! lol im just like you say you are. im like patrick i notice things others dont, i think logically somethimes (dyscalculia does give me limits on logical thinking, but when i do it makes sense) i think over my day and people i meet i am also annoying on porpuse. lol i annoys my friends and random people. oh, and teachers. i have a funny some times unexplainable humour (like, i really would say "BOOM" sorry i could not resit" like patrick in carlin inc.)i started laughing at myself then.... lol and i am a child.. but i am childish i also like looking at things people AND places like amnda! god are we twins???lol i learnt a bit of body laungue when i was 12. now im 13yrs old, and haveing watched the mentalist- i have looked into it more. i also looking and listen carefully to things and sometimes when i speack to that perosn i bring it up or someting like that and it looks like im physic- aswell as bodylaungue obervasion. i cant think of anyothers..lol amanda- wow. we are alike! I'm rather irritating, apparently as well. I would do something exactly like Jane in Carnelian, Inc. when he goes 'boom'. And Lisbon people she has quite a sarcastic sense of humor, and if she likes someone she has a good time around them, but can get a bit embarrassed sometimes!!! Aug 22 2009, 5:59 PM EDT weeeelllll, i supose im all of them, partick: i can reeeeeaaaalllly annoy people sometimes, trying and not trying, but i can be charming..yey! aswell as hearing, scensing things some people can't i am also a apprentice lip reader, and i observe alought! sorry about the cp spelling! lisbon: i am often angry and sarcastick, and i would act just like her if i fancied someone around me! rigsby: i am funny and i LOVE food! i am also english! cho: when i want to be i can be dead serious, and i mean DEAD serious! van pelt: weeeellll, again everyone say's im quite sweet, and i also like to keep my admirers waiting (like her and rigsby!) amk358	15. RE: Who are you most like? Aug 23 2009, 7:16 AM EDT I'm a little like all of them I think. Patrick Jane because I can always seem to read people, sometimes even when I don't want to!! My great- grandmother was a psychic and I'm told she was pretty amazing!! A little of that seemed to come out in the next generations too! I hide my feelings well and I've always smiled to hide the pain.I can joke around and be childish at times. One place that I worked they asked me to participate in a prank and make a phone call to someone that worked there. I put on an upper crust accent and totally pulled it off!! She was none too pleased when she found out!! Well I grew up with a brother who was every bit as annoying as Jane and played tricks on me constantly! I figured if you can't beat them, join them!! I was never by the book at school, although I was always polite, I questioned anything I thought was unfair and walked home a few times and got away with it!! Lisbon is the boss and I can be quite bossy when I want to be, not in a bad sense I'm just used to organizing and I've made sarcasm into an art form!! Rigsby, likes food and yes I do love food. Plus he's shy around Grace and somehow I was always tongue tied around anyone I really liked. Grace believes in God and psychics like me. I have good reason to believe though!Plus I care about others and I've got a soft heart. Cho likes books and I'm doing an MA in English Lit and have around 150 books sitting next to me as I'm writing this. I can also be quite serious when it suits me. I'm very focused at school but sociable at the same time. And I do not believe in God but I believe in the other side, not nessaseriley heaven but somewhere out there. Oct 30 2009, 3:34 PM EDT definatley lisbon with a hint of jane, lisbon: i hide my feelings and would like people to see me as the strong leader (in basketball anyway) i like to go by the book jane: i get stuff done but not the way people appreciate all the time. and i can read people pretty well. obviously i am like the others in little ways, but those are the most like me... there also my favourite characters :D Post reply Do you find this valuable?

I love sports and like to be active. Im interest in criminoligy like her. I have a great worth ethic and work very hard at what I do. I love to have fun and joke around. Im sarcastic and kind to everyone around me! I can be strong if nessisary and will do whatever has to be done. Jane: I don't belive in God or physics, unlike her. haha Im kinda like Jane in that way. In Van Pelt I'm really shy & reserved. with Jane well id like to say im observant, but i cant ^^ i did used to be but i seen to have lost that skill =P but i'm pretty determined, if i start something i tend to need to finish it.
