I was just curious....because he is such a good actor and the show is "extremely" popular, not to mention how friggin gorgeous he is.
I am making a point to see every movie in which he has appeared. My favorite thus far is without a doubt "Something New". It is just not right for a man to be that sexy. Lord have mercy!!! LOL!! 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

OMG!!! 250,000 per episode?!!! That's so fantastic!!! And you're absolutely right, sexysimon, Simon IS totally worth every penny :o) He takes my breath away, he's so incredibly sexy...mmmmm *swoon*. Btw, does anyone know what $250,000 is in pounds? As I'm English, I'd find that interesting.

$5.5 million a year???!!! OMG!!!! I'm totally gobsmacked LOL. Oh, yeah, Simon completely deserves it as he works very hard on each show; according to one of The Mentalist documentaries we had on T.V here in England, Simon has to get up very early in the morning and sometimes works for 12 hours filming! Ahhh, the poor bloke must be so tired at the end of each day :o( Bless him, he's so lovely *sigh*

i think the rate of a doller to a pound is basikly the samenow(i'm a brit too!) so it'll be only a feww pennies/dimes less! (but he TOTALLY DESERVES IT!) 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

the exchange rate of $ to £ at the moment is $1 = £0.62 so he makes £155000 per episode, HOWS THAT FOR MATHS?! Do you find this valuable?

Thanks for working that out for me LOL! WOW, £155,000 per episode!!! That's amazing! I couldn't have worked it out as I'm rubbish at maths LOL!

It doesn't matter how much he makes. What should matter is that his CHARACTER is priceless and that's what is interesting! Do you find this valuable?

Simon Baker is currently THE highest paid dramatic actor on TV. That's right $425,000+ per episode. Only Charlie Sheen before he was fired made more.

Have no clue where to put this piece of lovely trivia, so here it will go, unless told otherwise.
Soz if I'm behind the times and this is old news, but I only saw it recently.

Mr. Baker is starring in three ads, and as the Mentalist. I don't know if these ads are just for Australia and surrounding regions, or are world-wide.

On a scale of swoon to ten, I was catatonic, just watching him.

In the first ad, he leans casually against a glassed wall and just speaks; in the second, he's sitting in an outdoor cafe with a woman, drinking tea and looking deliciously edible; and in the third ad he's in a plane, suggesting to the man next to him, that he knows a good TV show he can watch, in-flight.

He's looking elegant and sophisticated, his hair all fair and not altogether neat, transparently blue-eyed and wearing a dark pin striped suit and pale shirt.
It's a good thing I know CPR.

If the man doesn't want to be followed by lots of women, then he should stop looking so outrageously inviting, for pity's sake.
