Who gave themselves away to Patrick Jane...?

Who did it: Dylan & Ruth
How: They killed their roommate to make a scary killer video.
What gave them away: When Jane met Weley, he realized he wasn't capable of murder and that Dylan and Ruth were behind it all (Marley's roommate). Red John didn't like being 'duplicated' so he showed up and killed Dylan and Ruth, shot Wesley in the leg and let Jane live.
