I think Red John is Kristina Frye because she escaped from her house with police and CBI Agents surrounding her and also she knew that Red John wouldn't come and kill her.. Also she knows a lot about Jane and I think it is because she was the one who killed his family?
Also Red John has people do things for him and even though she was in one place when the presenter lady got killed it doesn't mean she didn't have someone do it for her..
I have been thinking for ages that it was Kristina who is Red John because, Red JOHN acts as an alibi because she is a woman however with the mans name she can be under cover and act as if she is a man.. :P

It's been bugging me... Patrick lives at the CBI office, the couch is his bed. He did have his house but I think he sold it - full of bad memories, or never goes home. So where does he get washed and showers? Where does he get his suit cleaned and ironed? He still turns out gorgeous everyday!

I am going as Patrick Jane for Halloween xD and I was wondering if anyone has any tips for doing a similar hairstyle... At least any ideas on making the female version (shoulder-length hair)
I don't know much about hairstyling, so if anyone knows how to get that wavy-ness and such, you'd be doing me a kindness :) Thanks!

I know Patrick was too busy for highschool, with the being taught to manipulate and read people and all, but does anyone wonder how his dad and he learned so much originally? I have read up what I could and practice reading people in everyday situations and try to be observant, but there must be some books or something to help expand that knowledge. I am currently going to University, so I will get my share of Psychology (especially to become a teacher, it's needed!), but I love to read up things on my own and learn on my off-time. If anyone has any good books or articles on the subject let me in on it please! ;)

swhe is a police officer and conducting important meetings with fellow officers. but look at her dress!!!! it is horrible. like a teen ager low hip jeans and tight hug shirt??? will any decent police officer wear that kind of dress?? i am fed up of her dress and stopped watching the episode. please somebody tell the producers to stop pampering the heroine and be practical

she's mysterious and guarded, which makes her interactions with jane so interesting. he can read almost everyone but i get a feeling he has a harder time with her. and she kicks ass! robin tunney does a great job with the character.

Ok, this is the first time on for me.. I am having a hard time understanding the dialogue with Robin.
It seems she's slipped into a mumbling stage, talks too fast and sounds monotone. Just plain hard to understand and I really have to try hard to understand her. She's sort of mimicing the blond investigator on CSI Miami who is very,very irritating with her high pitched voice and another mumbler. what's going on with these programs where people have to talk fast and mumble through their lines?? Very irritating.
I love the Mentalist overall, but I'm getting tired of the lousy unclear dialogue..

Didn't notice, myself. But if this 1972 Citrogen is all original, it would probably only have lap belts, not shoulder harnesses. These wouldn't be visible from the outside view, or a typical interior shot of Jane from chest up. Also, depending on the structure of the car, it might be inadvisable (and not legally necessary) to upgrade from the lap belts. This is the case with my 1967 Corvair.

I'm afraid I can't come up with ten reasons, but my favorite character is probably Cho.
I absolutely adore his no-nonsense manner. (I guess I respect the idea of personal discipline.) ...Plus, he's built!
Of course I like 'the mentalist' himself. It would be great if there were someone like that in real life.
But I always enjoy the scenes with Cho. I was particularly thrilled with the episode about Cho and his gang-banging past. Very satisfying for us Cho fans, to have essentially an entire episode devoted to him. :-)

AHHHHHH ... have you heard? Kristina Frye will be back on the show for the two final episodes this season!!!!! Oh, I love it. The episode with her in season 1 is one of my favorites ever. Okay, the producers shouldn't overdo it with the romantic tension between them... but I think there can be some great dialogue between those two.... I'm happy!
